Q: its now been two days for trying to empty the trash every time to try i get the message saying it can't open trash as it doing another test like moving or copying try again later  how do i get to empty the trash  please

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. I see from your post that you have been unable to empty the trash on the Mac for the past few days. I like to keep my Mac trash empty as well, so I can understand the concern. I will be happy to provide some information on this.

If you haven't already please try to empty trash in another user account. This will help us determine if the issue is system wide or user specific. See this article for more information:

If you are still unable to empty the trash in another user account, please boot the Mac into Safe Mode and test. 

Try safe mode if your Mac doesn‘t finish starting up
