can a video be transferred to iPads?
Essentially what they are saying is -
1. You will need a piece of hardware called iPad camera connection kit - http://www.apple.com/shop/product/MC531AM/A/apple-ipad-camera-connection-kit
2. Move the video to the USB
3. Plug the USB into the camera connection kit
4. Using the Photos app on the iPad - it should "see" the video files on the USB in the camera connection kit and import them to the iPad

You can download iTunes app from Apple website to install it on your Mac or PC computer.
Step 2. Connect your iPad to iTunes with the USB cable that comes with your iPad
Step 3. Choose iPad as your file syncing destination
Click the dropdown menu near “iTunes Store” on the top right corner to choose iPad.
Step 4. iTunes summary interface
After choosing device “iPad”, iTunes will automatically switch to the summary interface where you’re allowed to sync movies, music, photos, TV shows, apps, etc to your iPad.
Step 5. Choose video/music/photo files you want to sync
Here we take syncing movies as example, click “Movies” to movie syncing interface. Please make sure the box for “Sync Movies” is checked. And then check the movie items you’d like to sync to your iPad.
Step 5. Start syncing files from iTunes to iPad
Click the “Apply” button on the bottom right corner to start syncing your videos, music or photos to youriPad.
