Q: i lost my iphone5 just yesterday and i didn't really enabled 'find my iphone' app

well i lost my iphone5 just yesterday and i didn't really enabled 'find my iphone' app i know it's so stupid. but i still have the IMEI number , do i have any chances to get my iphone back please? even if i go to the local law enforcement? thanks. btw it's iOS 9.3.2

    While you can report the loss/theft to local law enforcement, having the IMEI will not enable tracking. It can be used to identify the individual device should police recover an iPhone, but they cannot use it to find your individual device. Without Find My iPhone activated, there is no way to track the device, and it will be able to be restored and used by another person. I would contact your carrier to see if they participate in blacklisting services, which could prevent the device from being used locally with a carrier.
