Q: OS X 10.6.8 Crashing

Okay I have a MacBook A1181 not sure of the EMC. It is a Core 2 Duo 2.16GHz CPU, 4GB RAM and a 750GB Western Digital HDD. I think it is my sudden motion sensor causing this issue but I am hoping someone can help me determine that for a fact. When I boot the computer back up after a freeze or crash this is what my logging files say:

    Hello Scorpion2k5,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. I see that you've been experiencing unexpected behavior on your MacBook. I can surely understand how this would be concerning. I am happy to help get this resolved with you.

Having up to date software can resolve many issues. Here's some information how to update your software:

Update the software on your Mac

If you continue to have issues, please try safe mode. This will allow your Mac to run certain checks and prevent some software from automatically loading. Follow these steps to start up into safe mode

    1. Start or restart your Mac.
    2. Immediately after you hear the startup sound, press and hold the Shift key.
    3. Release the Shift key when you see the Apple logo appear on the screen.

After the Apple logo appears, it might take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your desktop. This is because your Mac performs a directory check of your startup disk as part of safe mode.

To leave safe mode, restart your computer without pressing any keys during startup.

Try safe mode if your Mac doesn't finish starting up

If the issue persists the test this in another user. This will allow you to see if the issue is being caused by specific user settings or files. The following link provides information about user accounts and how to test an issue in another account.

How to test an issue in another user account

    Have an amazing day!

Does it crash if you quit and don't use Chrome?
