    Hi there, Marie,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. What I'm understanding from your question is when you use the Music App on your iPhone 6, tap "My Music" then the search icon in the upper-right corner and search "All Apple Music", you're finding that there's no information provided. I have an Apple Music subscription myself and I'm always searching for old songs to recreate the playlists of my youth. Since Apple Music should be working correctly, I suspect there's a problem with how the iOS was installed. I'll be providing troubleshooting steps but they should get Apple Music searches working like it should.

Feel free to skip any steps you may have already tried. With every step you do use, test whether or not you're able to search. Before beginning any troubleshooting, it's always advisable to have a fresh back up so your data is safe.

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings -- If you didn't back up your iPhone before, it's important to do so before restoring your phone to factory settings as your data will be lost.

When the Setup Wizard asks you how you want to complete setting up your phone, select "As a new iPhone" instead of using your back up to set it up with the first time. You can log into iTunes & App Store and iCloud as that information will be needed to test. Once you're at the home screen, sign into Apple Music by tapping Settings > Music, turning on "Show Apple Music", and turning on the iCloud Music Library. You should be able to search Apple Music now. All that's left now is to get your personal information back on your phone.

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup

You'll need to re-download any music to your iPhone to play while offline.

Download songs, albums, and playlists to listen to offline

    Happy searching!

I am very sorry but I now find that my Music App is working but the ITUNES App is the one where 'search' can bring up a list but clicking on the list brings up only the search wheel.

The steps above will fix that as well. Make sure to back up first, then restore your iPhone to factory settings. Be sure to log into iTunes & App Store when the setup wizard asks. Once you're back to the home screen, test the iTunes app to confirm that it's working as it's supposed to.
