Q: 4K project on Premiere Pro CS6 - Macbook 2015

Hi,

I'm working on a documentary tomorrow and the edit team use Premiere Pro CS6, which I haven't used in a long while. I've been using FCPX for a year and prior to that I was using FCP7 mainly but occasionally I use Premiere.

The doc is shot in 4K and I'm just wondering how my MacBook will deal with all the files on Premiere? I'm not sure exactly how much footage there will be as of yet but it will be approx 2/3 hours of 4K footage.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)

2.5 GHz Intel Core i7

16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB

I've worked on 4K with FCPX before and seemed to process fine.

Also are there any tips you can give me before I start the project tomorrow, considering I've not used Premiere in a long time? I guess it's probably best that I set the playback settings to a lower res while editing, which I think is easy to do with a little dropdown in the viewer panel?

Thanks in advance.
