Nov 14, 2015 5:29 PM in response to sksimpsonby Chris CA,Now your post makes no sense.
Where is this setting on the iPhone to not make/accept calls while logged into iOS?
Do you mean Do Not Disturb (the subject of this thread)?
This stops calls from coming in, depending on how it is set up.
Do you mean Do Not Disturb does not work for you?

Nov 14, 2015 5:33 PM in response to Chris CAby sksimpson,Exactly, even though it's shows that it's turned off, when my phone is locked, any incoming calls don't come through. They get a recorded message saying I'm unavailable to now. I've tried all of the fixes listed, but none worked. That is, not with my phone anyway.

Dec 10, 2015 11:30 AM in response to okhelpneededby Bodiego,Easy fix - just found it. Go to Settings, Sounds and scroll to bottom. Turn off the button for Lock Sounds.

Dec 27, 2015 9:09 AM in response to okhelpneededby TornadoWilkes,I Just found a different approach, tried the accessibly thing and it worked to display the incoming FaceTime but still no sound. So retried a facetime call but this time whilst the incoming call screen was displayed slid the mute slider off then back on. Now FaceTime rings even in lock mode.

I understand you're confusion. But sksimpson didn't say there was a setting on the "iPhone" to not make/accept calls while logged into iCloud. Her original statement was, "I also had to make sure that none of my devices were linked to make or receive calls when signed into iCloud." She meant none of her "other" apple devices such as macbook pro, mac, iPad, etc.
If you have "other" apple devices linked to iCloud, there is an option on those devices to answer calls to your iPhone cell number on those devices too. I had to turn that setting off on my own macbook pro so it wouldn't answer calls to my iPhone because it was annoying. I just turn it on if I'm expecting a FaceTime call that I want to take on my laptop.
I don't know if that feature on the other devices affect how calls ring or don't ring on one's iPhone when it is locked or unlocked. But I thought I'd point out that her original statement was referring to that, and it is not a setting on the iPhone itself, nor a setting specific to "iOS" but to "iCloud."

May 25, 2016 7:05 AM in response to Bodiegoby dosbirn,
Bodiego's answer solved my problem (turn off the button for Lock Sounds). But what I'd like to know is how it ever got turned on. I've had my phone for a long time and this problem happened just recently, out of the blue (not after an upgrade either).. -

As you just responded to a 2 year old post YOUR message doesn't make any sense. No one can figure out what you mean.

There were actually a couple of different problems that came up in this thread. Which one do you have? Explain what you're trying to do, what happens when you try and what steps you've take, so far, to troubleshoot the issue.

Jun 28, 2016 9:08 AM in response to Meg St._Clairby Dottore de Funk,Thanks Meg for the offer of help. I may have sorted it. My problem is that the phone does not ring when the screen is locked. I tired a few things around the accessibility settings which didn't make much sense and didn't work. After my post I then noticed the post about the Lock Screen Sounds setting so I have tried that and on first test that seems to have sorted it but I need to keep checking as the issue may be intermittant.

Best of luck.

Jul 1, 2016 2:02 AM in response to Meg St._Clairby Dottore de Funk,IIt's still happening and none of the fixes have worked so far. It's maddening. Wonder if it is anything to do with having calls ring on iPad?
