Q: blue tooth on iPad not working

hello

i have got an iPad approx 18 month old

the blue tooth on it dose not seem to work

i have the blue tooth turned on and i have turned the iPad off and on again

i have tried it several times and it says that it is visible as the iPad but my phone will not pick it up and the iPad will not pick anything up

it is also up to date with updates

can you help

You can't pair your phone to your iPad except for some very specific purposes. What are you trying to accomplish?

likely the issue is with your expectation
you can't transfer data using Bluetooth unless you use some third party app from app store which use the PAN Bluetooth profile

this is what ios support in terms of Bluetooth profiles
