I'm so glad you came to the Apple Support Communities for help with getting iMessage activated on your iPad. I use iMessage and I love the convenience of being able to get all my messages on all my devices. You've done some good troubleshooting steps so far, thanks. Let's see what we can do to resolve this issue. I have an article that addresses this:
If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime
Be sure to follow all the steps but keep in mind that iMessage can take up to 24 hours to activate.
Still not activated after a day?
It might take up to 24 hours to activate iMessage and FaceTime. If you've waited more than 24 hours, follow these steps:
- Make sure that your device has the latest version of iOS.
- If you're using an iPhone, contact your carrier to make sure that you can receive SMS messages.
- Contact Apple Support.
Best wishes and hope you'll be able to use iMessage on your iPad very soon!
