Q: Apple Pencil Rubber Tip

Hi

I really love the Apple Pencil that is used with the iPad Pro for sketching or drawing.  My question has to do more with the tip of the Apple Pencil, which at times is kind of awkward when I sketch. I find that it's too slick on the iPad's glass top. Guess I'm looking for something with a little more traction.  Does Apple make a rubberized tip or is there a third party that sells one? Thank you. -Kd

(I posted this earlier today, but I don't know if it went up.  I couldn't find it anywhere).

Like you I really like the Apple pencil and find it very useful.  Other than Apple's replacement tips I doubt if there are any third party replacement ones available.  I'm assuming you have read the Apple guidance on the pencil?

The tip encases and protects some fairly delicate electro-mechanical parts. I rather doubt that a rubber tip will ever be available, although perhaps different plastic formulations are possible?

Yes, of course I read the Apple guidance, now that you posted it.  Thanx for your response.  (Wish there was a trick to giving the tip a little traction)
