Q: My Mac Air is suddenly running the fans....

Hi all,

Within the past few weeks, my Mac Air suddenly started running the fans whenever I get onto the Community Site, or even when I go to my Lumosity site and play my standard little quick game.

My fans never came on before unless I was doing some CPU-heavy tasks like rendering photos into other formats like oil paintings or the like.

I rarely use any sort of CPU-intensive processing on my Mac. Just the Community Support, Mail, messing with Photos, etc.

But now, my fans seem to come on every time I start doing anything on my Mac.

Is there some adjustment or testing I need to do?

I just had a new battery put in late last Summer, and it is showing a Normal condition with 324 cycles if that helps.
