Q: Macbook pro 15 Retina 2014 shuts down after I close the lid

My Macbook pro Retina 15" 2014 model keeps shutting down instead of going to sleep when I close the lid, or when left idle for some time. Mostly on battery but now even when plugged in. Also if I put it to sleep it shuts down instead.

Did the SMC reset, even reinstalled fresh new system (wiping off all data).

No change.

Anyone could help me please? The warranty just expired 4 months ago, so no Apple free service.

Many thanks.

    • Note the time of the next unintended shutdown. After restarting open the Console app in Finder>Applications>Utilities and look for log entries at the time of the shutcown. Post suspicious ones here.

Look before the log entry that starts with BOOT_TIME since that is the first line of a bootup

Now it did unexpected shutdown while being plugged into the power adapter.

I don't know what could be suspicious but I have copied few lines before and after the event here:
