Q: Keyboard won't work after Windows installation using Bootcamp
Hi there.
I need help with keyboard connection. I have followed the steps re bootcamp and all the necessary downloads for the iMac and it all went smoothly. Got the the point of set up account on windows, and I am not able to type using the apple keyboard. The mouse worked fine but the keyboard somehow is not connected?
I saw this support from Apple If you don't see some Mac features when using Windows on your Mac - Apple Support and I am starting the process. Having read the entire thing, I am not sure now if this will do the trick. I still can't get pass the set up account on windows to even get to Windows Support Folder. Any ideas how I can go about using the keyboard? Thank you in advance.
- Click Restart to start up your Mac in Windows, then log in if prompted.
- Open the Boot Camp folder (or, on newer versions, the WindowsSupport folder) on the USB flash drive. Then double-click Setup (or setup.exe) to begin installation. When you're prompted to allow Boot Camp to make changes, click Yes.
