Or remove the old drive from the old computer, put it into an external USB 3.0 enclosure, then connect it to your new computer. Only transfer the minimum of what you need to the new computer such as often-used applications. Or you can go to OWC and see if you can upgrade the new computer's SSD to a larger one.
