Q: Are there any special network requirements for using AirDrop?

I've been successfully using AirDrop to transfer files between an iPhone 6s and a MacBook Pro in several networks, however it doesn't work in my own network at home. All networks use the same ISP.

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3.2

The ISP is irrelevant. Both devices must be on the same network so if you have a dual-band router make sure both are connected to the same band. You also need a Bonjour compatible router. Have you tried resetting your router?
