Q: How do I move all photos/iPhotos on a Mac to a usb drive?
I have seen similar disscussions, but I have purchased multiple flashdrives and tried many programs. According to Daisy Disk, I have 25 gb of pictures. I purchased a 32 gb lexar usb drive. Is there anyway to move ALL the photos and from Photos and iPhotos etc. onto my flashdrive without having to click every single one (as I have 12,000) and take them off iCloud as I have no memory on any of my devices or Mac? Please. OsX El Captain and Macboob Pro purchased in late 2014 with retina display, please

Want to keep them in iPhoto? Just move the Library:
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
Other wise: Export them
Command-a selects all.
File -> Export
