Q: How do I stop my typing cursor from blinking?

My Mac is working fine. The challenge is that I suffer from a vertigo issue and the blinking cursor makes me ill when I'm typing.

I have a Mac computer, Processor speed of 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

4 GB 1067MHz DDR3

Software OS X 10.9.4 (13E28)

Hoping someone has a solution.

Unfortunately, this only works with certain text in certain apps:

You can use the terminal to change the NSTextInsertionPointBlinkPeriodOn and Off.
