Q: Disabled iPod 5
My son has been locked out of his iPod 5 because he forgot the password and entered it too many times. I have tried restoring through iTunes and get an error 1671 message or a message saying that the download has timed out and to check my settings and network connection. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to fix this. We bought it second hand and it had been refurbished. Thanks in advance for any help!

Check for communication issues
If you see error 1671, iTunes is downloading necessary software. Wait for the download to finish and try again. To see how long the download should take, you can click the down arrow in the upper-right corner of iTunes.
