Q: I can't seem to download OS x Capitan

Hi there!

I can't seem to download OS x Capitan..

Whenever I try to download it, it says, "OS X Capitan can not be installed on Macintosh HD"

I tried to make new disks but they all bug out.

Help??

Do you have at least 8.8GB of free space? See Upgrade to OS X El Capitan - Apple Support

A. What do you mean by 'tried to make new disks'?
B. Where are you downloading from?
C. Is it possible that you downloaded the El Capitan 10.11.5 Combo Update in stead of the full installer? The latter is only available from the App Store.
