Q: i have a macbook pro and iPhone 6 and they will not connect via bluetooth

i have a macbook pro and iPhone 6 and they will not connect via bluetooth. I have tried everything they see each other ask to pair and then i get its unsuccessful. I know both devices can pair as they connect to there devices all the time

Other than Internet tethering usage, iPhone and Mac do not pair.

Macbook pros and iphones will not pair because they operate on two different systems. The Mac on OSX and iPhone on iOS.
