Q: continuity call using lync instead of iPhone
I have a problem that when I try to make an iPhone call from Safari in OSX (i.e. highlight a phone number on a web page, click the arrow that appears to the right and select call xxx-xxx-xxx using iPhone) my Mac starts/uses Lync instead of using the iPhone to make the phone as desired.
How can I choose which application is used to make phone calls from Safari?
I have checked the phone call settings in FaceTime on OSX already and 'Calls from iPhone' is ticked.
MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

As stated on the link below the solution is : launch your FaceTime app on your Mac and go to Preferences. There is a new pull down called "Default for calls:", click on that and choose FaceTime.
