Q: How to get the Apple Music folder content back into iTunes?
I just nuked my Mac and copied my username folder over to an external drive beforehand.
Purchased and ripped music is all in place but I can't get the downloaded files from Apple Music back onto the computer. It looks like it's doing something but the number of songs does not change. I am logged in to my iTunes account. Probably missing something really obvious here.
Any ideas?

I see that you are missing the Apple Music content on your Mac. I'm an Apple Music member as well, so I know how important it is we get this resolved so you can enjoy all of your music. I'll be happy to assist you with this.
Make sure that Show Apple Music is checked and enabled, and that you are logged into the iCloud Music Library by following this path: iTunes > Preferences > General. Check out this article here for more information:
