Q: How do I make books in a series stack?

I am publishing a series of student comic book collections and want them to the the same "series" so that they will stack in iBooks. I put in the same series (2016 Comics) for each volume but after publishing and downloading from the iBooks store, they appear separate. Any ideas?

I used iTunes Producer 3.1.1(593) on my MacBookAir running El Capitan 10.11.3

You need to write an email to the iBooks support team with listing of all books in series mentioned their (book's) ID. You can find them on iTunes Connect portal under Books section.
Then they will replay to you, in my case it took less than a week to appear as a series:

I seem to remember a question about series on the first page in iTunes Producer where you enter the course details, description.

It will not apply automatically. To be visible as a book series publisher need to contact with iBooks support team.
