Q: 7th generation iPod nano won't get recognized by iTunes any more.
My laptop is fairly new. Came with Windows 10. My iPod was recognized and worked just fine until about 2 months ago. iPod still works and plays. The laptop recognizes that there's something connected in the USB drive, but iTunes won't properly recognize it. I'd like to get some new music but that's kind of hard if iTunes won't recognize my device. None of the troubleshooting things online help, and I don't feel like calling apple support and dealing with them. Any advice is welcome.

See the second box in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for detailed tear down and reinstallation steps for iTunes. Try the for older video cards version or the revert to the most recent build that worked for you if the current one won't.
