Q: iPad settings

Hello everyone,

Lately there has been a problem with my iPad air, as it doesn't detect sim card, i troubleshooted it in all possible means but nothing really helped, i think it is some hardware issue.

Moving on to my question, i want to turn my iPad air from cellular to iPad mode, but in my settings the Mobile data is faded and i really can't switch it to iPad mode.
I'm currently running iOS 9.3.2

I'd like to know if by any means i could do that,

Thanks

iPad Air, iOS 9.3.2

Reset the iPad.  Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.

thanks for your reply, tried it lots of times but it didn't really help. As when iPad turns on it says no SIM card installed.

but actually there is a SIM card in it which iPad doesn't read, it appears to be an hardware issue. I'm not concerned about getting it work again, I just want to turn my iPad from cellular mode to iPad mode so that my iPad stops searching for SIM card.

i've attached a pic you can see mobile data is faded away, that's the place from where I use to turn on iPad mode.

if there is a way that would be great.image.png
