Q: iTunes "Home Videos" library does not show up on iPhone/iPad

I have added some of my own .MP4 videos to iTunes from my Windows 10 PC.  I can see the videos in the "Home Movies" library in the iTunes desktop app on my PC.  However I cannot see this folder to sync to my iPhone or iPad in the iTunes App.  How do I download these videos to my iPhone or iPad for offline viewing?

    Greetings dclash,

Thanks for posting here. I see you’re wanting to be able to transfer your home movies that are in iTunes to your iOS device. This is a great way to be able to bring your home videos with you on the go. I’ll be happy to help.

It sounds like you’re pretty familiar with how to sync items to your iOS device and syncing your home videos are pretty easy to sync as well. While in your library, home movies show up on a separate tab from your iTunes Store movies, when you go to sync them, they are in in the same section as the iTunes Store movies.

Follow this article to Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer using USB. Click on “Movies” and check to sync movies, you should see a list of all your movies, including your home movies so you can sync those over.

If for some reason you don’t see your home movie there, it might not be in a compatible format for your device. Check out this article to see what you can do to convert it to be compatible:
