I am going to a store in Barbados approved by Apple. However, they are bending the rules to suit themselves.

That's why I require an official statement from Apple that the warranty document has to be respected.

Armed with your assurance that the charger should be covered by warranty and along with printed copies of the warranty, I approached the iStore here again and they agreed to replace it free of cost. Of course it has to be send to the factory (US) for replacement and that it will take about 10 days, but that is a minor inconvenience for not having to shell out a good sum after paying for an extended warranty!

Armed with your assurance (and Illaass') that the charger should be covered by the warranty, and carrying a printed copy of the warranty, I approached the iStore here again and they agreed to replace it free of cost!
