Q: Watch battery drain after not used for weeks

I went on holidays for 2 & 1/2 weeks so I decided to leave my Watch at home in order not to carry just one more charger. During my holidays I bought an iPhone SE to replace the iPhone 5S I was using with the Watch.

After coming back home and starting to use the Watch again, its battery life has dropped dramatically; it is losing 50% of battery in less than four hours which is surprising since, for the last year, battery has lasted around 18 hours as average. I have unpaired it, restarted and even reset it to factory settings several times with no success so far.

I have no clue whether this behaviour is due to the time it has not be used, the fact that it is paired with a new phone or something completely different but there is no way I can make it work properly again.

Any advice or experience?

Apple Watch, iOS 9.3.2
