Q: Blocked contacts but iPhone still rings

I blocked a contact, but my iPhone still rings when the contact calls me. It seems it is not only my problem because I found the same issues in other websites. The contact has hundreds of spam numbers. Does the number of phone number matter?

 

iOS developers, I believe you work for perfection. Please give me ANSWERS.

Yes, the actual phone number in the contact matters - that is the bases for iOS blacklisting.  Blacklisting merely compares the number in the blacklist (the blocked contact list) to the incoming callerid number.  You will need to keep adding either those spam numbers to the blocked contact, or just block each one as a separate blocked contact.

    My question is:

    Why does iPhones fail to block a contact even though I made the contact blocked using the button "Block this Caller?" It still rings. Do you know how to make it work?
