Q: I don't see Two-Factor Authentication on my iPhone 6s or my iMac w/10.11.5

I don't see the option to turn on Two-Factor Authentication on any of my devices or my iMac.  I have iOS 9 and OS X 10.11.5 on these devices.  Someone suggested I may have Two-Step authentication on but I never activated it.  When I check the Apple ID web page it shows the option to activate Two-Step (which suggests it is off).

Dominic, thank you for trying to help.  Several people, including myself, don't see this option either under OS X 10.11.5 or under iOS 9.  I'm in touch with a couple people on another list who have the very same problem.  None of us have Two Step turned on.  Some have suggested that if you don't see Two Factor, that is the reason and Two Step needs to be turned off.  Unfortunately, a number of us never turned that on and can see from the Apple ID page that it's not turned on...AND we don't see the option to turn Two Factor on.

    Any other suggestion?
