Jul 9, 2016 6:05 PM in response to Lawrence Finchby John C Lin,Thanks! Does Family Sharing have anything to do with sharing data plans or internet passwords or history? Or is that unrelated?

Jul 9, 2016 6:11 PM in response to John C Linby Lawrence Finch,It has nothing to do with shared data plans; you need to talk to your carrier about that. Family Sharing is described in the link I provided. You can share purchased music and apps, photos, and have a shared calendar (and private calendars). If you subscribe to Apple Music all family members can use it for one subscription fee. You can also share locations, so you can all see where the others in the family share are at the moment. And you have the option of controlling iTunes and in-app purchases from a master account. Read the whole article; there's a lot of good information in it.
