Q: Restrictions unchecked, still playing clean version?

Ever since I turned on my iCloud music library, all of my songs are playing the clean version only. Even the tracks I have imported from CDs. My iphone6s only plays the clean version when I have my phone hooked up to my car as an ipod. I've checked all restrictions and they are disabled

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3.2

    Hello Sienna8518,

Thank you for being part of the Apple Community!

It is my understanding some of the music in your iCloud Music Library has been replaced with clean versions.  Being able to listen to all versions of your music on all your devices is one of the great features of iCloud Music Library.

This can sometimes happen when you are a member of iTunes Match.   If you are a member, you can find and replace any songs that have been matched to the clean version.

Check if any explicit songs are being matched to the clean version

    1. In iTunes, find the explicit songs. Delete the songs from your computer and from your iCloud Music Library.
    2. Re-import the songs from the original source at a high quality.
    3. From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen, choose File > Library > Update iCloud Music Library.

    Cheers!
