Q: Apple Watch Uncharged for Over 1 Month.

So I have not charged my Apple Watch in 1 month, and when I tried to charge it, I charged it for 3 days straight, and it still won't turn on, no it's not the charger, I tried force restarting with Digital Crown and Side Button and still nothing, then I was dumb enough to unpair the apple watch with my iPhone thinking somehow it would work, and now I can't reset it, so dumb. I can't connect to iTunes either, I'm so lost and confused, I barely got this apple watch for about 2 months for my birthday, and I don't know what to do. I have tried every single thing on the web from force restarting to restore the whole entire apple watch. Please if someone know, please tell me, literally I'm desperate for your help, Thank you in Advance.

    Hi

    Given the steps that you have already tried, I suggest that you contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available) or make a Genius Bar reservation with a view to having your watch checked under warranty:

    Although you say "no it's not the charger", you may first still wish to try these troubleshooting steps.

    When charging your watch, check that:

    • All plastic wrap has been removed from both ends and both sides of the charging cable (check closely on the head of the charger).

    • The back of your watch and the head of the charging cable are clean and dry (clean them with a nonabrasive, lint-free cloth).
    • The charging head is properly aligned with the back of the watch, with the concave / curved side touching it fully:
      • Some watch docks, stands, cases or protectors might hinder this.
    • If possible, test by using another genuine Apple Magnetic Charging Cable (for example, by borrowing one from a friend).
    • If you are charging your watch by plugging the cable into mains power:
      • Check that the USB connector on the Apple Magnetic Charging Cable is pushed fully into the USB Power Adapter.
      • Check that the USB Power Adapter is pushed fully into the power outlet.
      • Try using different adapters from the following:
        • The Apple USB Power Adapter that was supplied with the watch, or;
        • An Apple 5W (iPhone) or 12W (iPad) USB Power Adapter, or;
        • An Apple-certified (MFi) third-party 5W USB power adapter.
      • Try using a different power outlet (one that is known to be working properly).
    • If no other suitable power adapters are available, try instead charging by plugging the cable into a USB port.
      • If charging via a USB port on a computer, ensure that you use a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port, the computer remains turned on and awake and the cable is plugged directly into the computer (not into, for example, an external keyboard).

    After charging your watch for at least 2.5 hours, if it has not already restarted automatically, remove it from the charger and:

    • Try restarting it (by pressing and holding the side button until you see the Apple logo).
    • If necessary, next try force restarting it: press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for around 10 seconds, until you see the logo.

    If the issue persists, contact Apple Support or make a Genius Bar reservation, as previously suggested.

    Looks like I forgot to remove the plastic wrap, but it with it on the Apple Watch still shows as Charged, does that effect a whole lot? Before it had this problem I charged it with the plastic wrap on.

    Be sure to remove all of the wrap, as leaving it on can cause issues with charging.

    If you are able to charge and turn your watch on, follow these steps to pair it to your iPhone again:

    • When viewing the time on your watch: go to the Home screen (via a single press on the Digital Crown) > Settings (cog icon) > General > Reset > Erase all Content and Settings.

    • You should then be able to pair your watch to your iPhone again by following the standard set up process.
