Q: Podcast artwork after download

I am searching for a method to automatically apply the artwork on a podcast feed to files that are missing individual artwork after they are downloaded. Are there options to implement this or may I request this feature be developed? Multiple file titles are too long to view the source feed appended and the artwork is an easy identifier.

Where are you downloading your podcasts from? Are you modifying them in any way after download?

For podcasts from iTunes Store, I have never seen one that does not already come with artwork. That's part of the file.

    In iTunes…

Select the episodes you want to change (hold shift to select multiple items). Be sure that these episodes are downloaded.

    File menu > Get Info.

Paste the desired artwork into the artwork field (or click it to add it manually). Click OK to apply it.

I don't know of a way to do this automatically - it is a feature of the podcast providers & their feed. You should notify the content creator if the episodes have no artwork so everyone benefits if they fix it

From the store and I'm not modifying any. Some examples are C-SPAN, PBS Newshour, Fox Sunday, Face the Nation, Penn's Sunday School.
