Q: What more can you do when your iPhone gets stolen?
Hey folks,
I'm a Swedish citizen living in Stockholm, Sweden. A few weeks ago my iPhone 6s got stolen in one of the central parks here. I've contacted the local authorities and my phone operator with my IMEI-number and I've gotten a new phone through my insurance.
Now what happened today was that suddenly on my new iPhone I got this message that someone was trying to log in to my Apple-ID. The stolen iPhone 6s that hadn't showed up on "Find my iPhone" since it was taken from me, suddenly popped up near Dallas, US of all the places! It was gone a few seconds later and I never got the chance to make a print screen of it. I also received an e-mail from Apple telling me that someone had used my ID to download iMove to a different device.
I've changed the password for my Apple-ID about three times today and I'm wondering if there's anything else that I should or can do? Since the stolen phone won't show up on the list of devices in "Find my iPhone" I feel like there isn't much I can do by myself.
Cheers.

If the device no longer shows up in your list of devices in iCloud, and given they used your AppleID to download iMovie, your AppleID password was clearly guessed or compromised somehow. So changing your password is the first and foremost thing you needed to do, so good for that.
