Q: Want New Apple ID for New Mac
Let me try to make this simple.
I currently own a MacBook Pro bought in late 2011. I have an Apple ID that I've used with that one and my current iPhone.
Today I bought a brand-new MacBook Air. The main reason I bought a new Mac is to have a totally fresh work space without all the clutter that's on the old Mac. When I set up my new Mac I used my same Apple ID, and that was a mistake. I'm not very tech savvy and I just didn't realize it would ALL SYNC. So now all the clutter from my old MacBook Pro is on my new MacBook Air (at least the Safari part, and it did migrate about 162 photos from my old Cloud onto my new Mac).
This is the OPPOSITE of what I want.
So what I want to know is: how do I erase my old Apple ID from this new Mac and just start all over with a new Apple ID just for the new Mac?
I want to KEEP the old Apple ID for my old Mac, iTunes, and my iPhone.
I understand that by using a new Apple ID with my new Mac that all my Apple products will not be synced. I understand that I won't able to access my iTunes on my new Mac. I'm fine with all that. I just want this new Mac to be totally free for me to start brand-new work on it. I don't care about iTunes on the new Mac, and I can continue using my iPhone with my old Mac.
Please, I hope someone can help me with this. THANK YOU in advance.

Create a new Apple ID through iTunes. On the new computer open iCloud preference panel. Sign out. Sign back in but this time use the new Apple ID and password. See Apple ID - Apple Support and iTunes- How to set up an Apple ID within iTunes.
