Q: Unsync Apple Watch
My iPhone got damaged beyond repair. I had it synced to my Apple Watch. How do I unsync the watch without the phone? I reset everything on the watch and sold it to my daughter. But when she tries to sync it to her iPhone, it says it is already synced. Can anyone help me with this?

Hi Colette
You are referring to Activation Lock, which prevents unauthorised use of Apple Watch if it is lost or stolen.
As your iPhone is damaged beyond repair, try one or the other of these steps to remove this lock:
- Ask your daughter to start pairing the watch, then enter your Apple ID and password on her iPhone when prompted (this removes Activation Lock).
- Remove your watch from your devices in iCloud:
- Sign in to https://www.icloud.com/ with your Apple ID, then go to: Settings > My Devices > Click on Apple Watch > Click on the "X" > click on Remove.
- It may then help for your daughter to close all open apps on her iPhone and to restart both devices before trying again to pair the watch (turning both off together, then restarting the iPhone first).
