Q: Macbook white mid 2010 back cover issue

Hey

I had a macbook white mid 2010 for a very long time.

It suffer from the back-cover-letting-go-disease.

Didnt know back then it was free of charge to change. So I've been stuck with it for a couple of years now and

wondering if it's still possible?

https://www.apple.com/support/macbook-bottomcase/ - "Apple has determined that under certain circumstances the rubber surface on some MacBooks may separate from the bottom case of the system. MacBooks shipped between October 2009 and April 2011 may experience this issue. " "This program covers affected MacBooks for four years from original purchase date. Apple will continue to evaluate the service data and will provide further extensions to this program as needed."

I am thinking you are too late.  In fact in general it is not possible to get Apple to repair any hardware older than 5 years.  Vintage and obsolete products - https://support.apple.com/HT201624
