Jul 13, 2016 8:56 AM in response to Supritjoshiby FoxFifth,Each time you sync photos from a computer to an iPad using iTunes, it sets the synced photos on the phone to match the current sync settings in iTunes. It does not affect photos that were taken on the iPad. For example if you sync folder 1 yesterday and you want to add folder 2 today, when you sync today you need to set iTunes to sync both folder 1 & 2. If you only sync folder 2, iTunes will add folder 2 to the iPad and remove folder 1 from the iPad in order to match the current iTunes settings. When you have used iTunes to sync photos to a device you need to retain the originals on the computer -- if you don't, they will be deleted from the iPad the next time you sync photos. There is more information in the "Sync your photos manually with iTunes" section of the following link: Keep your photos safely stored and up to date on all your devices - Apple Support
