Jul 15, 2016 7:32 AM in response to lllaassby ictxy,HI,
finally I've decide to start and buying the card and everything.
Now I've mounted it and it seems that it is not recognized by the system...I've also installed the driver for OSX 10.10.2
(http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/83647/en-us), but othing. The videocard has the power since the fans start normally.
What else can I try?

Jul 15, 2016 7:47 AM in response to ictxyby lllaass,Have you connected power to BOTH auxilary power connectors on the graphics card?
See what driver this said you should be using:
Update: InsanelyMac has released a really handy tool called the "NVIDIA Web Driver Updater" which can help you find the right drivers for your OS version, I'd strongly recommend giving it a go:

I've used the tool you suggested and updated the Nvidia driver, but nothing, it is neither displayed in the info of the system. It sees only the GT8800 (it is the old one)...

Jul 18, 2016 2:55 AM in response to ictxyby ictxy,I'd like to add a detail: my gpu has 2x8pin power connectors, instead of 1x6pin + 1x8pin as many of them, could it be a problem?

Jul 18, 2016 7:21 AM in response to ictxyby lllaass,Could be. Just what card did you purchase? Can you provide a link?
Typically, a manufacturer can purchase the GPU chip and put it on their own design card.
