Q: POWERBEATS2WIRELESS NOT WORKING

I bought a POWERBEATS2WIRELESS in January 2016, and I´ve had to send them three times, the only answer from Apple is to send you a new ones, but with the same problem, wich is that, if you use them in a gym , and they get wet beacause of the sweating they´ll stop working sooner or later.

Although it´s very clear that they´re suppose to work in these conditions, just cheking what the apple store says about them.

Designed to endure

The IPX-4 sweat- and water-resistance rating means Powerbeats2 Wireless are tough from ear bud to the tangle-free cable wrap around. There's also over-molding on the RemoteTalk for a no-slip grip when you’re changing volume, switching tracks, and making hands-free calls.

is there a way to solve this problem??

thank you very much.

    Hi

Whilst Powerbeats2 Wireless Earphones are sweat and water resistant, they are not waterproof.

As the product has repeatedly failed under your normal use, perhaps consider returning them and trying alternative earphones that have a higher IP rating for protection against liquid / water ingress.

For example, you might wish to consider using earphones with an IPX7 rating (which indicates protection against water ingress when fully immersed at depths of up to 1m) rather than IPX4 (which indicates protection against splashing water).

are you suggesting that I spend another 200€?

or that Apple should change my product for a different one?

If I could've returned my money back and buy a different ones I'd have done it already

I suggested that you perhaps consider returning them (whether you ask for an exchange for a different product instead of a refund is up to you).

You did not say that you had yet tried either to return them for a refund or to exchange them for a different product. You instead said only that you have so far received three replacements.

No-one here can tell you what Apple will decide. However, depending on your location, you may benefit from Apple's warranty and/or from rights under consumer law. For example:
