Q: IPod Shuffle 2nd Gen shows full charge in 15 minutes.

After my iPod shuffle 2nd generation showed a red then no light, I plugged it in the docking base and into my PC's USB port to charge. The light was orange then after about 10 to 15 minutes it showed a full charge; green light and cool to the touch. It didn't seem right because before it would take 2 to 4 hours to fully charge and it would be very warm. To see if it wasn't really fully charged, I played my iPod shuffle and it only lasted for about 2 to 3 hours. Is this an indication the battery it dying and needs replacing or is my iPod "hooped" (logic board problem).
