Q: Deleted all my files off my MacBook Air and it still says I have 84gb of 'other' ***!

And yes I've emptied my trash, and also the photos trash.

I only have the apps GoPro, GoPro Studio, iMovie and Lightroom installed.

I dont have Time Machine turned on also.

This is doing my head in!

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

Try getting this app: http://www.derlien.com/

 

It's a disk cleaner that does a deeper search and can find all sorts of stuff, even caches and hidden files. It has worked for me and saved my life so many times in the past.
