Q: How do I delete videos from my iPhone and keep them on my computer?

Hello,

 

I want to delete some videos from my iPhone and make room for others or just to make room. I have iCloud.

    iCloud is a syncing system, not an external storage system. If you delete them from the device/computer  they will be deleted from iCloud.

    On your computer export the videos to a Finder folder and save them there.  Used the File->Export menu.

     

    You can then delete them off the iPhone and they will also be deleted in Photos on the computer but the saved files will not be affected and can be used as desired.

     

    If you ever want the videos back on the iPhone import them to Photos on the computer.
