Jul 17, 2016 4:26 PM in response to alejandrofotoby MrStig91,Being pretty new to Mac (as in, I just got my first Mac two days ago) I am not familiar with what GPUs are compatible with the Mac Pro. I assume this is an older machine with that card in it, but still PCI-E. Just do a google search of Mac Pro compatible graphics cards.
What is "best" is subjective. What do you use your machine for?

do not get an old card like the GT 8800. If your 2600 XT works you can just get a PC card as described in the last link above and use the 2600 XT when you need a boot screen like for Recovery mode
