Q: Having problem with 'Internet Accounts' Preference

My MacBook Pro's Account Settings option is not working. When it asks for put my password it shows incorrect while putting in 'Contact' app. And it shows the prompt (attached screenshot) while trying to access/click on 'Internet Accounts' in System Preference. Seeking a kind support . . . TIA

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

More than likely the problem is due to the Symantec auto protect software. Anti virus software is unnecessary on a Mac and will only cause problems.
