Q: Cannot sign in to Facetime, but in to everything else

Hi there, since recently I cannot sign in to Facetime, it gives me a signed out message.

Hope for help. Machine works fine otherwise. iMac 21.5inch, mid 2010, OSX 10.10.5.

Many thanks in advance.

Chris

    Hi there, hcaaa!

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. From your post, I see that you are having some trouble getting signed into FaceTime on your Mac. I use FaceTime to keep in touch with friends and family, and want to ensure yours is working so you can do the same. Try the steps under the "Troubleshooting FaceTime for Mac" section of the following article to help get you signed in.

    Have a great day!

    Thanks Steven,

I use facetime for a number of years now. It works fine on my macbook pro, but cut out on my imac.

Hoping s.o. knows how to analyze the console log.

    Have a great day.

    Chris

    Hi Achhetri,

the path is in (   ). Just follow it and delete: com.apple.FaceTime.plist, if you have the same problem.

A new plist will be generated by the system.

    Best regards
