Jul 18, 2016 7:36 AM in response to opie88by David Bogie Chq-1,That exact filter? Too many subjective possibilities including objecting to that look. Why not call the production shop and ask them?
There are many film look filter suppliers. Some are expensive suites designed specifically for event and wedding shooters. Others are targeted at editors who absolutely need their video to look exactly like it was shot on some antique film stock. Some of these packages for FxFactory, CoreMelt, and other effects systems run on top of FCPX. Basically, you visit their websites and sample their products till you find a look you like or one that you can adapt. The controls for film looks can go on for pages, most tedious. You can get free watermarked trials so you can find the filter you want.

Jul 18, 2016 7:58 AM in response to David Bogie Chq-1by opie88,Hi David thanks for your reply, I'll check out the filter suppliers as you mentioned.
I didn't really mean the exact filter, just if anyone had any suggestions if it was possible to achieve a similar look through the existing tools in FCPX, or do you think only a 3rd party filter would give that kind of look?
Thanks again.
