Q: no slomo clip after imp. a slowmo-file in fcpX

I made a slo-mo clip/video in my iPhone 5S and import this in fcpX but the slo-motion does not appear, just the normal speed. In the clip there is a kind of "broken"circle in the left upperconer. I don't know the meaning of this. I waited a certain time (to render it may be?) but no effect. What 's wrong?

Thanks

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4), 3,2 Ghz, ICore i5, 24GRam gtx 875mx

NNothing. Calling your video slomo was quite stupid on Apple's part. Your video isn't in slow motion it's in a high frame rate like 120 frames a second. But a second is a second whether it's divided into 120 slices or 24 slices.

TO make your video slomo you put it in a standard  frame rate project, 23.98 or 29.97 or 25 or whatever you need. You then set your high frame rate video to automatic speed in the retiming menu. That makes your video play frame for frame in your lower frame rate project and you get slow motion.
