Q: How to download picture files to a PC?

I am trying to figure out how to download picture files in bulk from my iPhone.  Pictures are sent to me by family members using iPhones.  I don't know where they go, but picture files appear on my iPhone.  I just want to download these files to my PC.  I know how to send single pictures to my self by email, but this is too labor intensive and time-consuming.  Is there a way to send picture files from my iPhone to my PC?  I have read all the Apple articles, FAQ's and tried to click on all of the sharing options, but have had no success.

iOS 9.2.1.  Windows 7 PC.  Plenty of processor, RAM, etc.

iPod classic, Windows 7

I figured out the Camera Roll Thing and  am working on the Dropbox solution -- that may the solution.

Maybe my problem is getting pivtures on other albums in iPhone.  When I try to do that, camera roll is greyed out.

Any ideas there ?  This shouldn't be that hard -- I've been working on the problemoff and onfor over two monthsd.

Thanks for the response and the help
